Transforming lives through gender-affirming electrolysis
At eleQTro spot, we’re more than just a service provider—we’re a community-driven space where everyone is welcome.
Our mission
Prioritizing gender-affirming care
At eleQTro spot, we understand that gender-affirming care goes beyond physical treatments—it’s about creating spaces where people feel valued, safe, and supported.
Our mission is simple yet impactful: make gender-affirming electrolysis accessible. We do this by accepting insurance, including Medi-Cal, and offering sliding-scale options for those who are uninsured or underinsured.
Whether you’re seeking permanent hair removal as part of your gender-affirming care or because you have unwanted hair, we’re here to help you achieve your goals with respect and care!
Why gender-affirming care matters
Electrolysis is an essential part of gender-affirming care for many transgender and nonbinary people. As the only FDA-approved permanent hair removal method, it’s critical for pre-surgical preparations and non-surgical care alike.
However, the shortage of providers—especially those offering gender-affirming care—means access is often difficult to navigate. At eleQTro spot, we’re closing that gap. By prioritizing clients who use insurance, partnering with community organizations, and maintaining sliding scale options, we ensure that financial constraints don’t prevent anyone from accessing the care they need.
